My spring break was filled with excitement, adventure, and happiness. During our break, Claudia, Ellie, Kylie and I took a trip to Seaside,Florida for four days. We stayed in Seaside in a two-story house that was right on the beach. It was our paradise. We had a whole floor to ourselves. The house was right inside the town so we either road our bikes or walked everywhere. The weather was so beautiful. It was the perfect temperature, not too hot during the day, and perfectly cool during the night time. We did all sorts of things. Road our bikes around to town and shopped, got snowballs, went on the beach, and enjoyed the time we had together.
Spring Break went by a little faster than I expected it to be. One minute I was on the beach, and then another I was sitting in my room wondering if I had any homework. I believe that on this spring break I wasted the time I had home because now I have to do a social studies project that I forgot about. Not a fun time for me. But overall, my spring break was very good.

If you are in a position of power, you are happy…
I believe that this statement is partially true, but partially false. In a way being in a position of power can bring happiness, but power alone can not bring happiness to a person. In society today, the standards for people that are considered more powerful are set very high and it can be very stressful and hard to meet those standards. This kind of stress in a person can never bring happiness. On the other hand, having money and power and being considered in a position in power can bring happiness because of how well one is doing in there lives and how many things the powerful person has. In reality, the one with less power lives a happier, laid back life.
Who we are--our essential character and temperament--is fixed and unchangeable…
This statement has always been a question to me. Can who a person is really change? I believe that if a person goes through something tragic, a person can partly change but not fully. Something traumatic in a persons life could change a persons perspective and look on certain types of things. I also believe that a person can never really change his/her character.
