English 1, 2013-2014

                I am hoping that this years english class is different, but the same as last years. Last year I was unfocused in class sometimes, I didn't ask a lot of questions, and I waited until the last minute to do my work. Also, I didn't take my writing serious enough. This year I am going to stay focused and try harder with my writing. I love to write because it feels different than talking to someone in person. I would rather think about what Im saying and write it down because I feel like I am expressing myself better than I would in person. I would like it to be the same, because I could usually always come to see Mrs. Milligan after class to understand what we did in class better if I didn't understand it at first.
              I love the fact that we have blogs. I am starting to like my blog because I can put all my writing into one place where everything is organized and people will be able to see and help me improve. My overall goal for this years english class is to become a better writer. I seem to have writers block a lot. I want to break that habit as soon as possible and really express my words well. I am excited of what is to come in English 1.
